The load is lighter when you share one another's burden's
It is a common site in Mongolia to see people working together to carry a heavy load.
From old to young they are more than willing to help each other.
This has been very impressive to me.
Another common sight is to see to women or girls walking arm in arm down the road. I wondered about this when I first arrived here, but the first time we went walking some where with our translator Muugii, she hooked her arm into mine to help guide me around the holes in the sidewalk and to guide and protect me as we walked across the road. What a great example of caring and loving others.
Another lesson I have learned is to work hard, no matter what your job is. The people of Mongolia are hard workers. They take pride in doing their jobs well whether they are a street cleaner or a translator. These people know the importance of doing a good job and working to provide for themselves and their families.
Another lesson I have learned is to enjoy the sun and the outdoors while you can! The summer is short and the winter is long so get out and enjoy the GREEN and the SUNSHINE while you can!
We went for another hike on Saturday up above Ulaanbaatar. It is fall now and definitely colder in the mornings. It has been 3 Celsius which feels a little nippy in the mornings
I am grateful to be here in Mongolia. Iam grateful for the Mongolian people and their example of love for each other and their example of love for the earth and our Heavenly Father's creations.
